The hardware line

Four device types, one platform underneath. Schematics, PCB, enclosure and industrial design, and bill of materials — all designed and built in-house.

TheSmartCone mobile cart unit, branded base, next to standard traffic cones for scale

Core field unit

TheSmartCone

The core multi-sensor field unit, and the namesake of the platform. It houses the sensor head, on-board compute, and connectivity in a single field-deployable enclosure — shown here in a solar-powered configuration.

Field beacon

SmartTorch

[SmartTorch description — TO CONFIRM before publishing]

Shown here in an underground mine tunnel deployment, mounted as a standalone illuminated marker alongside vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

PatrIoT Edge Node with dual PTZ cameras mounted on a mast

Edge compute

PatrIoT Edge Node

The edge compute unit running the fusion engine. This dual-camera mast configuration pairs two PTZ cameras with the Edge Node's on-board processing.

Multi-sensor wearable enclosure mounted on a hard hat, SmartCone Technologies Inc.

Worn on-site

Multi-sensor wearable

Worker-worn sensing and alerting device — extends the platform's proximity and safety alerting to the person on foot, not just the fixed installation. Shown here in a hard-hat-mounted enclosure design.

Built in-house, not assembled from a catalogue

Every unit in the line shares the same underlying discipline: schematics, PCB layout, enclosure and industrial design, and bill of materials are all designed in-house, then built around the PatrIoT engine rather than around a single fixed sensor. The renderings below are from SmartCone's own board designs — a backplane and a power-supply board — shown here as evidence of that in-house engineering, not as a claim about any specific unit's internals.

Where this hardware gets deployed

From roadside work zones to airport ramps to underground mines.
